Dorothy June Nestor, 90, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Hospice of North Colorado in Greeley. She was born October 14, 1923 in Kersey, Colorado to Clem and Annie Wright. Dorothy grew up in and around Ft. Morgan. Dorothy enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1943 and served as a librarian. After her honorable discharge from the Air Force she married Frank Nestor in 1946. Dorothy liked taking care of children and being with her family. She also enjoyed baking and being outdoors. She is survived by her son Gary Nestor of Ft. Morgan, four grandchildren, Paul Cook (Terry), Russell Cook, Brenda Griffith, and Lydia Morgan, two sisters, Helen Thompson of Ft. Morgan and Eva Taylor of Berthoud, CO, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her grandson, Kenny Ray Cook, sisters, Faye Poe and Clara May Weimer, brothers, Robert, Fred, Harold and Glenn Wright, and her parents. There will be a private family inurnment in Memory Gardens. Memorial Services will be Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11:00 am upstairs at the VFW in Ft. Morgan. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Northern Colorado, 2726 W. 11th Street Road, Greeley, CO 80634.

So sad it won't be able to attend the service....I will always have special memories of all the times my family spent at Aunt Doeothy's home.

Dorothy you will be missed by more than you family. You were a family member to my children and to me for many years. I had the pleasure of growing up with you an my children also got to enjoy your wonderful smile and loving kindness also.
I am so glad that we were able to stayc close for so many years. When we look up to the Stars at night we will be able to see that you are looking down upon us with in the lights from the stars. You will forever be in our hearts.

Dorothy you will be missed by more than just your family. You were loved by so so many people in this world. You were family to me and my children and I know that every time we look to the stars at night you will be watching over all of us thru the lights of the stars.
