Following retirement, he turned his full attention to the operation of his ranch, spent some time traveling, operating his gold claim in Wyoming as well as hunting and fishing. His travels included a trip to Belize with his sister, a trip to Hawaii, and he spent a month driving to and exploring Alaska with Ms. Applegate. Marty was a very attentive son and visited his mother, Ann (DuBois) Katzenbarger, regularly.
Marty is survived by his son, Matt DuBois, and his son, Mark DuBois, wife Betty and grandchildren, Deanna and Archer. Marty is also survived by his mother, Ann Katzenbarger (97), of Fort Morgan.
