Ronald "Ron" E. Davis, 48, former Brush area resident, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013, at the Penrose - St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs following a short illness. Ron was born April 11, 1964, in Brush to Raymond Merle and Barbara Davis.
Ron graduated from Brush High School in 1982. Prior to ill health forcing his retirement, Ron owned and operated a janitorial service company. Ron will be remembered as a very loving and giving man. He enjoyed joking with family and friends and laughing. He was an avid Denver Bronco fan.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Davis, of Brush; his siblings, Rick and Sandy Davis of Brush, Donna and Ernie Bass of Snyder, David and Deb Davis of Wiggins, and Susan and Jim Goss of Hoyt; special friends, Roger and Cathy Tucker, and their family, and Cheryl Halderman. He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Barbara Jean, his father, and a special friend, Ed Halderman.
A memorial service will be Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Brush Church of the Nazarene. A private inurnment service will be held later at Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. The Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements.
