Scott Peters Obituary
Scott "Scotty" Peters passed away sometime around Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in Denver. He was born in Denver to Mike and Susan Peters on November 25, 1971. After his mother remarried, he moved with his mother and step-father, Phil Pietrowski, to Fort Morgan in 1979 where he attended elementary through high school. Scott worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Fort Morgan for a while, and the began his career as an electrician, eventually becoming a master electrician. He worked for Hamilin Electric, Northern Colorado Electric, and Cargill Meat Solutions. He inspired other people and encouraged them to improve their lives by learning a trade such as electrical work. Scott had a passion for the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, football, bowling, NASCAR, I-76 Speedway racing, fireworks and barbecuing with family and friends. Scott is survived by his children, Bradley, Alix and Ethen Peters, all of Fort Morgan, his father and step-mother, Mike and Becki Peters of Denver, his step-father Phil Pietrowski of Fort Morgan, his grandparents Bernie and Marilyn Peters of Denver, his sisters Candice Pietrowski, Kim Pellegrini and Amy Sauer, a niece, Abbi Wyrsch, three nephews, Drake Ludgate, Joe Pellegrini and Same Sauer, and 12 uncles and aunts and 16 cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Pietrowski, his step-brother Joe Pietrowski, his uncles Bruce and Bob Bowman, and his maternal grandparents Gordon and Marjorie Bowman. A Memorial Service will be held at Life Fellowship Church on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for benefit of Scott's children may be made payable to Bradley Peters, in care of Peters family at 8734 W. 76th Ave., Arvada, CO 80005.
