Donald M. Campbell, 56, lifelong area resident, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at his home in Ft. Morgan.
Don was born October 17, 1956 in San Rafael, California, to Donald and Ilene (Troyer) Campbell. He married Janine M. Schilling on November 27, 1982 in Brush.
Don grew up in Ft. Morgan and when he was 17 years old started working in the oil field. For the last 6 years or so, he had been working as a consultant for Schneider Energy.
Don enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and arrowhead hunting.
Survivors include, his wife, Janine of Ft. Morgan; his grandson, Orion; his parents, Donald Campbell of Loveland and Ilene Mayfield of Ft. Morgan; two sisters, Marjorie Bowen of Loveland and Pam Ringo of Ft. Collins; three brothers, Alan Campbell of Loveland, Ron Campbell of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Bill Campbell, also of Loveland.
Don was preceded in death by his son, Shaun M. Campbell, and his infant brother, David Campbell.
Memorial services will be Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the mortuary. Private inurnment will take place in Serenity Falls at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be made in Don's name in care of the Heer Mortuary or to the charity of one's choice. The Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
