DAVID A. FEEBACK, 55, of Bluffton, died Sunday Dec. 31, 2006, at University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a graduate of Wabash College and the Indiana University School of Law. In Wells County he served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and was a partner in the law firm of Lautzenheiser, Myers, Feeback, Spear and Kiracofe. He was a former Public Defender and a member of the Wells County Bar Association and belonged to Elks Lodge 796. Community service was a priority for him and he was active in the Jaycees. As a founding member of "Friends of the Shelter," he served on the building committee for the Bluffton/Wells County Animal Shelter. Coaching t-ball, farm league and soccer kept him close to his sons and he never missed the "Daddy Daughter Dance" with his daughter. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Suzanne Welch Feeback; three sons, Chad of Los Angeles, Calif., Ryan of Manhattan, N.Y.C., Andrew at home; and one daughter, Jenna at home; mother, Marjorie Feeback of Fort Wayne; mother-in-law, Dorothea Welch of Bluffton; sisters, Valerie Pelz of Fort Wayne and Paula Gassett of Woodstock, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father Allen Feeback, in December of 2005. A private family prayer service will be held in Fort Wayne with burial in the Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery. A memorial celebration of life will be held in Bluffton at a later date to be announced. Preferred memorials are to the Wells County Foundation Neuter/Spay Fund-920 S.
