ARTHUR M. HOLLOWAY, 95, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at University Park Nursing Center, Fort Wayne. Born Dec. 4, 1917, in North Manchester, he graduated from South Whitley High School in 1936. He worked at International Harvester for 39 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church and Fort Wayne Astronomical Society. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in Italy and Northern Africa during World War II. Surviving are his sister-in-law, Janet Holloway of Fort Wayne; nephew, Jim Holloway of Fort Wayne; nieces, Cindy (Dan) Kelly of Fort Wayne and Bonnie (Matt) DeLong of Upland, Ind.; grand niece, Grace DeLong; and grand nephews, Scott Kelly, Thomas Kelly, Ross DeLong, and Luke DeLong. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Mabel Holloway; and brothers, Charles Holloway and Willard "Stretch" Holloway. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Greg Enstrom officiating. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, st the funeral home.
