MAGDALENE A. GIESE, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013. Born July 26, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Magdalene (Dong-ulia) Rucoi. Surviving family include her children, Andrea (Bruce) Dale, Susan (Steven) Lash, Larry Giese, and Mark (Kathy) Giese; daughter-in-law, Kathy Somers; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Virginia Bradley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Giese; son, Terry Giese; grandson, Lance Corporal Joseph Ryan Giese; and six siblings. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkview Hospice. Visit www.elzey-patterson-rodakfuneralhome.com to leave condolences.
