JOHN C. GRIM, 86, of Ossian, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013. Born Jan. 10, 1927, in Tocsin, he was a son of the late Orvil and Vivien (Prough) Grim. He retired from International Harvester in 1974. He was a member of Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren and American Legion Post 111 after serving in the Army during World War II. Surviving family includes his children, Carol (Alan) Hunter of Garrett, Michael (Ellie) Grim of Auburn and Susan (Roger) Boyd of Portland; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two step-granddaughters. He was also preceded in passing by his wife, Marcella (Stoker) Grim in 2012; and siblings, Harold Grim and Beuhla Dailey. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian, with visitation two hours prior. Carol--I am so very sorry to hear about the death of your dad. There is nothing I can say to ease your heartache or sense of loss. Be comforted in the fact that you will see him and your mom again.

John and Marty were very important parts of my ministry when i was pastor at the Tocsin Church Of Faith, and they remained very dear friends to
kathy and i. They were prayer partners with me. I miss them very much but thanks to God mike we will see them again. Thank you Jesus for bringing these saints into my life. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY RICHLY. Pastor Devon Stine
