DONALD C. DAVIS, 85, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Donald worked as an Auditor with Kroger and as a Manager with Maloley Brothers Grocery for many years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and enjoyed photography and traveling. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Schwartz Davis of Fort Wayne; stepson, Paul (Sandy) Derloshon of Garrett; granddaughter, Karlee Guy; grandson, Eric (Julia) Derloshon; and great-grandchildren, James, Elise, Madison and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Emma Davis; brother, Robert Davis; and sisters, Mary Fenker, Claire Till, and Betty Leon. Service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with calling one hour prior. Father Daniel Durkin officiating. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the St. Henry's Catholic Church.
