JAMES GUIFF Obituary

JAMES L. GUIFF, 101, of Eel River Township, died on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, 4:22 a.m., at his home with his family by his side. He graduated from Churu busco High School in 1928 and lived his dream of farming all of his life. Surviving is his son, Gerald "Jerry" (Marsha) Guiff; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Belle; and second wife, Irene. He is also preceded in death by his daughters, Audrey Valjack and Gladys Wakeman; and infants, Harry Guiff and Linda Guiff. Service is 1 p.m. Sunday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with calling after 10 a.m. Grandson and caregiver Chad Brenneke officiating. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Allen County. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Parkview Home Health & Hospice, with a special thank you for the care and compassion that they showed to Jim. Online condolences at www.sheetsandchilds.net
