PHYLLIS L. BARNEY, 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Gladys Bickel, and was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Aux. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Barney; children, Jeffrey Barney, and Jo Lynn Melton both of Fort Wayne; siblings, Darlene Goble of Albion, and Delbert Bickel of Fort Wayne; as well as six grandchildren. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from Noon until time of service.
