ARTHUR "ART" GERALD ANDERSON, 77, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla. and long time resident of Angola, went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. Art was born on Nov. 28, 1935 in Muskegon, Mich. He served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from Oak Hill Retreat -aka- Camp Calvary in Angola, where he worked from 1972 until 2001. "He dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior through many church affiliations and fellowships and in his everyday life." He is survived by his son, Kenn Anderson of Fort Wayne; son, Vincent (Patti) Anderson of Angola; daughter, Vicki (Mike) Dekoninck of Avilla; and daughter, Kathy (Tim) Mcnamee of Indianapolis; brother, Wayne (Nancy) Anderson of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; and Larry (Norma Jean) Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Anderson; and brothers, Glenn and Emery Anderson. Memorial service is Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Pine Hills Church, 4707 W. Carroll Rd., Fort Wayne, Ind., with visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. prior to service.
