AUDRE "BOB" MYERS, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Born in Picher, Okla., Bob worked as an Electrical Engineer with GE for 20 years, and more recently ITT for 22 years, retiring in 2005. He served in the US Air Force as an Airman First Class during the Korean War. He was a member of Coventry Baptist Church, American Legion Post 499, and lifetime member of the VFW in Churubusco. He loved spending time with his family, and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, gardening, and golfing. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Shirley Myers of Fort Wayne; daughter, Valarie "Michelle" (James) Elsenbeck of Lilburn, Ga.; son, Michael (Lori) Myers of Patricksburg, Ind.; son, Woodie (Karla) Myers of Chesapeake, Va.; daughter, Tammy (Dennis) Egolf of Fort Wayne; son, Matt (Lisa) Myers of Warsaw, Ind.; 24 grandchildren; 11 great - grandchildren; two sisters ; and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Edith Myers. Funeral Service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014 at D.O.
