CATHERINE M. (STRACK) NAGY (Golden Oak Leaf), 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. Born Oct. 9, 1928, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Charles L. Strack and Priscilla (Frei burger) Strack. She was married to Augustus "Gus" Nagy for 62 years and will remain forever his Indian princess. Her life was dedicated to her love of faith, family, music and Native Americans. Survivors include her husband, Augustus "Gus" Nagy; sons, Christopher (Sue) Nagy of Kendallville and Matthew Nagy of Fort Wayne; daughters, Laura Nagy, Mary Gatton, Catherine Mowry, and Julia Rhoades, all of Fort Wayne; 13 spoiled grandchildren; 13 VERY spoiled great-grandchildren; siblings, Godfrey (Rita) Strack, Mary Swenda and Priscilla VanAllen, all of Fort Wayne. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12305 Arcola Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 1 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church hall, with a rosary at 4 p.m. Burial in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Joseph Indian School or MIAMI Aid for Education - all in c/o the church.
