DANIEL W. HUFFER, 95, of Lebanon, Ohio, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. Born April 17, 1917, in Gomer, Ohio, he was the son of the late Walter P. and Lenore Arthur Huffer. On April 21, 1940, he married Ruby Ruth Goble; she passed away on June 15, 2003. He had worked as a Personnel and Labor Relations Manager for over 40 years with various companies including Lincoln Manufacturing Co. in Fort Wayne, from which he retired in 1984. He was a former member of First Wayne Street UMC, in Fort Wayne. Surviving are sons, James (Joanna) Huffer and Michael (Marcie) Huffer; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Service is noon Tuesday at Chiles Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, in Lima. The Rev. David Harris officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will the follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima.
