E. E. "JOHN" CLARK

"JOHN" E. E. CLARK, 87, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at Summit City Nursing Home in Fort Wayne. Born in Boone County, Ind., John was the Owner and Baker with Scott Bakery & Deli for 54 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church; Scottish Rite; Mizpah Shrine; Blue Lodge; Director with Retail Bakers Association; Involved with Indiana Bakers Association; Very involved with Central High School class reunions; Boy Scouts of America Scout Master and Cub Master; Anthony Wayne Council of Boy Scouts of America and a receipient of the Silver Beaver Award and served his country as a Seabee during World War II in the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Clark of Fort Wayne; son, Jon Clark of Fort Wayne; sister, Mildred Salb of Arkansas; grandchildren, Alye and Braden; and a great-granddaughter, Ryker Lynn Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmons C. and Ruth Clark. Service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Rev. Brenda A. Ginder officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind.
