ELSA OTHELIA (KUTZ) BARRY, 104, formerly of Bismarck, died on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Elm Crest Nursing Home, New Salem, N.D. Born Feb. 14, 1908, near Sykeston, N.D., she was a daughter of Adolf and Amelia (Boehlke) Kutz. She was united in marriage to Theodore Barry on Feb. 10, 1932. She is survived by her children, Sheila Polries of Bismarck, N.D. and Ted (Betty) Barry Jr. of Fort Wayne; the Polries grandchildren, Linda (Charlie) Donlin of Bismarck, Julie (Lyndon) Larson of Mesa, Ariz., Peggy (Mark) Anderson of Bismarck, Patti (Bruce) Penas of Fargo, Larry (Cessna ) Polries of Jamestown, David (Kim) Polries of Thompson, Jon (Steph) Polries of Sykeston, and Barry; grandchildren, Theodore "Ted" (Kim) W. Barry III of Kendallville, Brenda (Angelo) Spandrio of Sequim, Wash., Timothy (Susan) Barry of Jasper, Ind., Lisa Riecke of Fort Wayne, Charles (Laura) Knox of Fort Wayne, and David (April) Knox of Leo; as well as 36 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
