EMMA SCHWEIGERDT, 94, passed on to eternal life on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born March 18, 1918, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Hardt. On July 18, 1936, she married David Schwei gerdt at Eden Evangelical Church, Chicago; he preceded her in death in 1963. Emma was a charter member of the Daughters of Eden and Eden Choir. She retired from Skil Saw Company in 1983 after 20 years of service. Emma enjoyed quilting, crafts, the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and her family and friends. Surviving are sons, David H. Schweigerdt Col. Ret. U.S.A.F., of San Antonio, Texas and William A. (Nancy) Schweigerdt of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Wendee Schweigerdt of Hempstead, Texas, Nathan Schweigerdt of Fort Collins, Colo. and Heather (Lou) Aguilar of Temecula, Calif.; two great-grandchildren; and loving nieces and nephews.
