ETHEL M. CRICK, 98, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Covington Manor Nursing Home. Born Feb. 13, 1914, in Roann, Ind., she worked for General Electric and Wolf & Dessauer in the marketing room and tea room, and was also a honorary Toastmaster. Surviving are her son, David (June) Crick of Fort Wayne; daughters, Karen (Eric) Richardson and Betty (Hugh) Flennery, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Cynthia (Paul) Murphy, Matt Richardson, Ray (Tammy) Flennery, and Michael (Brittany Thomas) Richardson; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Caris, Chloe, Dane, Arianna, and Bruce; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard R. Crick; parents, James and Chloe Berry; twin sister, Edith Yagel; sister, Luella Rhoads; and brother, Everette Berry. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to Emmanuel Lutheran Church. www.klaehnfahl
