GROVER C. BELCHER, 75, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at parkview Hospital. Born Dec. 13, 1936, in Pineville Ky., he was the son of the late William and Myrtle (Saylor) Belcher. He worked at Levin & Sons as a crane operator for 40 years, and retired in 1991. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Belcher, of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Laurie Clawson and Linda Eastman, both of Fort Wayne; three sons, Timothy, Grover C. Jr., and Ronald Belcher, all of Fort Wayne; four brothers, Charles N. (Reathia) Belcher of Harlan, Cornelius, Robert, and Allan Belcher, all of Fort Wayne; and several grand children and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Billy, Herman, and George Belcher; three sisters, Martine Tun, Edith Duncan, and Wanda Williams. Service is 1 p.m. Tuesday at Advantage Funeral & Cremation, 2403 E. Wallen Road, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 5 p.m., Monday at Advantage. Entombment at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to donor's choice.
