HARRY J. THOMPSON, 80, left to be with his Lord on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Provena Sacred Heart Home, Avilla. He was a tool & die maker, and retired in 1994 from E & R Benteler Tool after 28 years. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Surviving is his wife of over 60 years, Adeline J. (Fritz) Thompson; a son, Daniel A. (Kimberly) Thompson of Avilla; a granddaughter, Malorie (Carl Sloan) Thompson of Avilla; a great-granddaughter, Wrayla Sloan; and siblings, Charles (Luann) Thompson of Martinsville, Margaret (Harold) Andrew of Greenville, Tenn. and Tom (Beverly) Thompson of Churubusco. Service is 2 p.m. Thursday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco, with calling from noon to 2 p.m. Pastor Rodney Schmeltz officiating. Burial in Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
