JACKIE LEA NEWMAN, 59, of Wolcottville, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 ,at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born May 3, 1954, in Kendall ville, she was a daughter of the late John and Norma (Kurtz) Boszor. She lived most of her life-time in LaGrange and Noble Counties. She worked as a teacher's assistant for 20 years at Vistula Head Start, LaGrange. In the summers, she was a cook at the Y.M.C.A. Camp Potawatomi, in South Milford, Ind. She was a member of the Noble Chapter O.E.S. 122 in Kendallville; Rome City American Legion; Kendallville Elks Lodge; Kendallville VF.W.; Kendallville Moose Lodge; Abate of Indiana; H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group); and ACS CAN. She married Roger L. Newman on June 12, 1976, in Kendallville; he preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 2010. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Devon and Dan Hutson of Kendallville and Melissa and Jonathan Baker of Kokomo; two grandchildren, Tanner and Adalynn Hutson; a sister, Jill Wentworth of Wolcottville; five brothers; and two sisters-in-law, Steve Boszor of Rome City, Mike and Susie Boszor of Brandenburg, Ky., James Boszor of Wolcottville, John and Wendy Boszor of Albion, and Joe Boszor of Kendallville. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, with Pastor Steve Brittenham officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at the funeral home. A memorial will be placed in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.
