JERRY J. BORROS, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at his home Fort Wayne. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jerry was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Jerry had worked for 17 years at Wabash Magnetics, Wabash, and then became the Corporate VP at Ranco Corporation, Columbus, Ohio for five years, he retired in 2000 after 12 years as V.P of Operations at Northlake Engineering, Bristol Wis. He loved to play golf, enjoyed working in his yard and after retirement he became an accomplished artist, working with water colors. Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Margaret "Marge" Borros of Fort Wayne; daughter, Tina McGinnis of Fishers, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Holly A. Borros of Fort Wayne; stepbrother, Richard (Kim) Corney of Cincinnati, Ohio; stepsister, Gayle (Gene) Brookshire of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Nicole (Jon) Louagie of Fort Wayne, Jessica (Dan) Glock of Huntertown, Adam Borros of Fort Wayne, and Annie, Emilie, and Ben McGinnis, all of Fishers, Ind.; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Borros; mother, Martha Corney; son, Douglas Borros; and stepfather, Robert Corney. Mass of Christian Resurrection is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with calling from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Fr. Andrew Budzinski officiating.
