JOHN J. GLASGOW, 87, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Ashton Creek, Fort Wayne with his family at his side. Born in Portland, Ind., John served in the Army during World War II and in the Air Force Reserves. He was a plant manager at Heckman Bindery, former owner of Royal Typewriter Co. and a graphic artist. He was a member of the Grand Lodge No. 87, F & AM in Portland, Ind. for over 50 years; past President of DPMA; and was on the Finance Committee for Westminster Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed golf, photography, painting and wrote and published the book, 'All Went Willingly'. Surviving are his wife, Cynthia of Fort Wayne; sons, John M. (Becky) and David, Robert (Edie), both of Fort Wayne, and Chris of Huntertown; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph H. and Leora Glasgow; and sister, Jane Lutz. Funeral service is 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at D.O.
