LAWRENCE CARDIN, 62, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born on June 18, 1950 a son of the late Gerard and Avis W. Cardin. He received his Master's Degree from the University of South Florida. He was a board certified Behavior Analyst and was employed by Benchmark Human Services in Douglas, Ga. He was also employed by Fort Wayne State Developmental Center, Fort Wayne, Ind., Columbus Organization, Columbia, Tenn., Mid-TN-E-TN, TX & FL Supported Living and Board Member on BIO's Advisory Council. Surviving are his wife, Gail Lynn Hoobler-Cardin of Douglas, Ga.; daughters, Katrina Cardin of Mt. Horab, Wisc., Brittany Cardin, and Lorelei (James) Hawker both of Appleton, Wisc.; seven grandchildren; brothers, Fred and Frank Cardin of Appleton, Wisc.; sisters, Janeine Appleton of Wisc., Judy and Joy Cardin both of Madison, Wisc. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Cardin and Bradley Kososki. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at the Chapel of Coffee Regional Medical Center. Pending memorial in Fort Wayne, and Appleton, Wisc. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested by the family to be donated, to Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control and A.W.S. of Fort Wayne, and Coffee Regional Medical Center, 101 Ocilla Road, Douglas, Ga., 31533.
