MARJORIE J. CLENDENEN, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at her home. A native of Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Alma Beck. She was a member of Anthony Wayne First Church of God; and a property manager for Hunter Property Management, retiring in 1992. After retiring, she went on to volunteer with, and serve as director of the Anthony Wayne Church Mission House, an outlet for the Associated Churches Food Bank, for several years. She is survived by her sons, Dave (Beth), Dan (Karen) and Tom (Becky) Clendenen, all of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Homer Clendenen, in 1972; and sister, Ruth Mary Parkison-Koenig, in 2012. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Anthony Wayne First Church of God, 6012 South Bend Drive, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
