MARJORIE M. SLIGER, 96, passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at University Park Nursing Center. Born in Fort Wayne, she was an accounting clerk with Montgomery Wards for 10 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Rosary Sodality, Daughter's of Isabella, Daughter's of The American Revolution and Beta Sigma Phi. Surviving are her daughter, Jane (Roger) Swartz of Dublin, Ohio; sons, James (Janet) Sliger of St. Peters, Mo. and William (Marijo) Sliger of Fort Wayne; sister, Dorothy Burgette of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her huband, Robert Sliger; son, Stephen Sliger; and brother, Erwin Pequignot. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 trier Road, with calling one hour prior. Msgr. John Suelzer officiating. Calling also from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with a Rosary service at 8 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
