NAOMI RUTH HARBER-BOBILYA, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Coventry Meadows Nursing Home. Born Jan. 22, 1926, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Marie Harber. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She worked for People's Trust Bank and Bobilya Shoes. She was also a homemaker and member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. "She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother." She loved to cook, sew and read, and was spirited in politics and cards. Surviving are her children, Claude (Sue) Bobilya III of Mission, Texas, Diane Bobilya-Harts, Karen (John) Gerni and John (Sina) Bobilya, all of Fort Wayne, Julie Speegle of Juneau Alaska, and Judy (Jozsef) Bobilya-Feher of Fort Wayne; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude M. Bobilya Jr.; daughter, MaryBeth Bobilya-Lobdell; grandsons, Joshua and Isaac Morris; and brother, Louis Harber Jr. Funeral service is 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Drive, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
