NELSON L. MILLER, 74, of Shipshewana, died at 5:40 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at his residence. He was born on Dec. 19, 1938 in Hicksville, Ohio, a son of Joe E. and Edna (Coblentz) Miller. On Oct. 22, 1959 he married Ada E. Yoder, she survives; also surviving are his five daughters, Dorothy (Denis) Graber of Leo, Doris (Marlin) Graber of Grabill, Betty (Steve) Miller of Goshen, Katy (Mervin) Miller of Shipshewana, Anna (Gary) Bontrager of Vandalia, Mich.; two sons, Nelson Jr. (Rachel) Miller of Middlebury, Jay (Ellen) Miller of Elkhart; 34 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Ruth Ann (Gerald) Hostetler of Marion, Mich., Naomi (Wayne) Yoder of Middlebury, Lois (Lamar) Schmucker of New Paris, Mary Boeger of Sarasota, Fla., Linda Graber of Fort Wayne, Louise (Arlin) Stutzman of Ligonier; four brothers, Joe Jr. (Ruth) Miller of Arlington, Texas, Ray (Velma) Miller of Shipshewana, Ervin (Marie) Miller of Spencerville, Paul Miller of Sarasota, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Mary Magdalena; sister, Wilma Miller; stepmother, Barbara Miller. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Maple City Chapel, 2015 Lincolnway East, Goshen. Rev. Mel Shetler and Rev. David Garty officiating. Visitation is from 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 also at Maple City Chapel. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Condolences may be sent to:
