NOBLE ROBERT DINGER, 91, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014. He married Theresa Marie Miller on Nov. 25, 1949; she survives in Fort Wayne. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of East Allen Church of Christ in New Haven; I.O.O. F. Lodge in New Haven; Order of Free & Accepted Masons; and the Scottish Rite in Fort Wayne. He retired from General Electric in Fort Wayne with 44 years of service. Also surviving are his sons, Alan (Cathy) Dinger of Fort Wayne and Greg (Theresa) Dinger of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters, Cheryl (Tom) Fuhrmann of Crawfordsville, Ind., Robin (Kevin) Parece of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Dawn (Brette) Anspach of Englewood, Fla.; twin sister, Nola (Raymond) Pelfrey of Howe, Ind.; brother, Dallas (Joan) Dinger of West Lafayette, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 12 sisters. Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at the funeral home, with a I.O.O.F. Lodge service at 8 p.m. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, in New Haven, with Military graveside services to be conducted by the American Legion Post 420 of Monroeville.
