OLIVER J. GEPHART, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at his residence. Born in Wren, Ohio, Oliver drove truck for 41 years, most of those years were for Associated Truck Lines where he was a Union Steward for the Teamsters. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the 2nd Armored Division and spent most of his time stationed in Europe. He was a family man who loved animals, playing cards, and playing golf (2 holes in one). "Oliver never met a person he didn't like and loved to talk to people." Surviving are his wife, Eloise E. Gephart of Fort Wayne; daughter, Diane (Michael) Titus of Bonita Springs, Fla.; son-in-law, John Sigworth of Plymouth, Mich.; granddaughters, Katelyn and Courtney Sigworth; and step-grandchildren, Cathy (Dan) Spieth, Craig (Traci) Titus, and Laura Titus. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Sigworth; father, Forrest Gephart; and mother, Norma Johnson. Service is 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling from 1 to 3 p.m. The Rev. Douglas Croucher officiating. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
