PAUL M. DIXON, 64, passed away on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at his home. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Dixon. Paul spent his childhood years in Oberlin, Ohio before settling in Fort Wayne. He graduated from Miami (of Ohio) University. He held many positions over his 34 year career at Lincoln Financial Group including lead systems architect and AVP in investment systems; retiring in 2012. He was an avid flower gardener and in his spare time he enjoyed photography and remodeling his family's homes. "He was a wonderful husband, dad, and grandpa and his gentle, patient personality will be missed." Surviving are his loving wife of 20 years, Colleen Kelly Dixon of Fort Wayne; daughters, Shellie (Mike) Kneese and Carrie (Chris) Myers, both of Indianapolis; sons, Cooper and Riley Dixon, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Patrick, Sydney, and Josie; sisters, Lynda (William) Dixon Tod of Manistee, Mich. and Beth Dixon of New York City, N.Y. Service is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Grace Episcopal Church, 10010 Aurora Place, with the Rev. Kathy Thomas officiating. Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at D.O.
