RICHARD WILLIAM CLINE

RICHARD WILLIAM CLINE, of Fort Wayne, passed on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, on his 67th birthday. Born in Missouri in 1947, he was adopted by the late Grady and Irene Cline. He graduated from Central High School in 1965 before joining the Navy during the Vietnam war. He was a landlord and contractor for many years and retired head of maintenance from North East Juvenile Correction Facility. After retirement, he got involved with local politics- working the polls and running for public office. In time not spent working, he enjoyed ball-room dancing, fishing, shooting pool, and "supporting his local Outlaws". He was a kind-hearted, loving man who would never hesitate to help someone in need. He was loved and will be remembered by his three daughters, Valerie Cline, Laine (Matt Arvey) Cline and Sarah (Aaron) Baxter; and four grandsons. A celebration of life is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, at The Office Tavern on Brooklyn Ave. in Fort Wayne, with Dan Comparet speaking God's words of comfort at 3 p.m.
