ANNE GAGE Obituary

ANNE M. GAGE, 54, of rural Decatur, died on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Adams Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 27, 1956, in Decatur, she was the daughter of Jack and Mary (Peterson) Gaffer. On Oct. 1, 1977, she married Roger Gage. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, and it's Rosary Society. She worked at West End Restaurant for over 40 years as a manager. She is survived by her husband, Roger Gage of Decatur; mother, Mary Gaffer of Decatur; son, Taylor of Decatur; two daughters, Kathryn (Ryan) Brickley and Becca Gage, both of Decatur; brother, John (Marsha) Gaffer of Columbia City; four sisters, Laura (Herb) Schlemmer of Convoy, Ohio, Jeannie Becker of Decatur, Paula Gaffer of Louisiana, and Charli (Steve) Werling of Decatur; and four grandchildren, Jayci, Jaron and Jevan Brickley and Kenadie Schwartz. She was preceded in death by her father. Mass of Christian Burial is 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Father David Voors officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, with reciting of the Holy Rosary at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
