Michael was such a wonderful person to all who knew him. I will really miss his kindness, dedication to his books and most of all, our friendship. There will be no one like him in the Barbie collecting world. He was an amazing kind hearted man. My sympathies and prayers to his loving family.

Michael will be missed dearly. What a smile he always had when I'd ask him, "when's the next book Michael?" His books will forever be missed. I have enjoyed all his doll books. May he rest in peace.

I have read every post and it is clear your brother was not only very good person, but he impacted a lot of people and Barbie enthusiast. Your brother made an impact on many and he must be commended for that. He was special and I am glad I got to know him to some degree. I am so sorry he passed way to young, but God called him home. Be proud of him.

Although I never met Michael in person, I knew him through his wonderful books which I use often and the online Barbie community. The Barbie world will not be the same without him. My condolences to his family for their loss. Michael has left us way too soon.

Condolences to Michael's family. He will be greatly missed in the doll collecting community. His knowledge was invaluable and he was always willing to share it. I'm sure there will be a certain emptiness at conventions and doll shows in the coming year … when many of us will be expecting to see his smiling face on the sales floor.

I was so sorry to hear about Michael. I had some fun discussions with him during room sales at convention about dolls over the years. We often talked about the foreign editions and I was able to add some great dolls to my collection thanks to Michael. I will always treasure his books and am thankful I had the opportunity to thank him for his significant contributions to the doll community. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Michael has been a very knowledgable and respected figure in the Barbie collecting community and he will be sorely missed. I have lost count of the number of times I have referenced one of his pictures, description or books to fellow collectors. He also always had time for a smile or a kind word or to inquire about a collector he had not seen in a while. Michael was one of the nice guys and he will be missed.
