REBECCA FRYBACK Obituary

REBECCA ANNE "BECKY" FRYBACK, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at home after an extended illness. Born April 1, 1949, at Luckey Hospital in Wolf Lake, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Betty Anne and Robert Louis Gause. Becky attended Columbia City Joint High School and was employed at Weather-Head in Columbia City before becoming a homemaker. The home she made was always warm and welcoming, full of laughter and homemade treats. Becky was a generous soul and a natural caregiver - whether she was tending to her flowers, a friend in need, or a tiny dog (or three). Becky is survived by her husband, Brent Lee Fryback; son, Robert (Andrea) Davis; daughter, Sherri Lynn (Sam) Ingram; two grandsons; brothers, Robert "Bud" Gause Jr. and Nathan Fred Gause; and sister, Roberta "Bobby" Shlater. A celebration of Becky's life is 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne.

It has been a privilege getting to know Rebecca and caring for her. She was a very lovely lady and we had a lot of great talks and laughs. I know she will be missed.
