JUDITH TEUSCHER Obituary

JUDITH LOUISE (BAUER) TEUSCHER, 67, has celebrated her home going to Heaven with the Lord Jesus, her Savior Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born Nov. 19, 1942, in Bad Axe, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Herman and Zelma Bauer, and grew up on a small farm outside Elkton, Mich. She married Wayne Teuscher on Aug. 4, 1962, and later moved to Fort Wayne, which had been their home for 48 years. "Friends and family will remember Judy for her giving spirit. She was always ready to help someone in need, even if it meant spending long hours, and not taking time for herself." Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at Navistar engineering, Fort Wayne for 32 years. Those waiting to join her in Heaven are her loving husband of 48 years, Wayne; daughters, Tonya Krinn and Cindy (Vince) Vanderlaan, sister, Carol (Jerry) Brecheisen; brother, Richard (Karen) Bauer; grandchildren, Phillip, Katy and Timothy; nieces, nephews and their children; friend, Gordon Liechty; and numerous other friends and extended family. "She will be missed by those who love her, but they know they will see her again in Heaven." Funeral service and celebration is 2:30 p.m Sunday at D.O. McComb & Son Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling from 1 to 2:30 p.m. prior to service. Calling also from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to her church: Imago Dei, 347 W. Berry St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802, or Southern Care Hospice, 4666 West Jefferson, Suite 170, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
