PATRICIA GEHRING Obituary
PATRICIA "PAT" GEHRING, 70, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Reading, Pa., she worked as a lab tech with Fuji Trucolor. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Hope Alive. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She enjoyed television, reading, and her granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Gehring of Fort Wayne; son, Tim (Kim) Gehring of Nineveh; granddaughter, Sierra Gehring at home; step-grandchildren, Nicholas and Emily Long; and sister, Pamela (Thomas) Hammons of Graford, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne E. and Mildred Martin. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, with Pastor Thomas Eggold officiating. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson.
