MARGERY F. GEER, 83, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Lutheran Life Villages at Pine Valley in Fort Wayne. Born in Anderson, Ind., Margery worked at Lord & Taylor in New York City for nine years. She was a graduate of Park Tudor of Indianapolis and Northwestern University in 1952 and enjoyed playing bridge, musicals, I.U. Basketball and was an avid reader. Surviving are her son, Blake (Connie) Geer of Syracuse, Ind.; daughter, Margaret "Marlie" (Jeff) Gernhardt of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, William Edward Geer, Ryan Zachary Geer, Owen Reed Gernhardt, Paige Marie Geer, Morgan Blakely Geer, Lydia Ruth Gernhardt and Emma Clair Gernhardt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl C. and Margaret (Jessup) Faulkner; and her husband, William Loney Geer. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7211 Stellhorn Rd., with calling one hour prior. Rev. Dr. C. James Cress and Rev. Timothy Graham officiating.
