My condolences to Bob's family and close friends. I had the pleasure of working with Bob for a few years and consider myself fortunate for that time for his perspective and advice as well as numerous & entertaining stories in addition to thought provoking and informative conversation.

Dear Bette: I am sorry for your loss, but happy to know that Bob got to have a few years in retirement. I was impressed that he taught till he was 81. He was a great colleague and you are a special lady.

I attended IPFW back in the early 90's and Bob is one of the teacher's that I can still remember being in his classroom, as he always had a story to tell. My sympathy goes out to his family and hope that he is in God's presence now.

I remember Bob ever since I was a little kid when my father farmed for his dad. We have stayed in touch through the years and always enjoyed our talks on the phone or in person. He was a special man and will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy to Bette and his family. May God give you peace and comfort during this time of loss.
