ALICE MAE SNYDER, 83, of Auburn, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at her daughter's home in Fort Wayne. She was born Sept. 7, 1929 in Auburn a daughter of Bruce and Mary (Wolfe) Lower. Alice worked at Mold Services in Butler, in the Clerks office in the Court House and for a tax Accountant for 35 years. She was an active member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and Town & Country Homemakers. She married Verle A. Snyder on June 20, 1953 in Auburn and he passed away Dec. 10, 2012. Surviving are a daughter and son, Janet Provines of Fort Wayne, Rick (Vickee) Snyder of Uniondale, Ind.; five grandchildren, Amanda (Nathan) Hubartt of Fort Wayne, Brandon Snyder of Fort Wayne, Andrew Provines of Indianapolis, Cortlon Snyder of Hobe Sound, Fla., Bryan Provines of Fort Wayne; five great-grandchildren, Bryce Snyder, Violet Hubartt, Anara Hubartt, Edison Hubartt and Eloise Hubartt. She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Glenn Lower; and four sisters, Beulah Hankey, Pauline Harmon, Martha Keller and Dorothy Freeman. Service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at Feller & Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, Ind. Rev. Mike Halferty officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial in Waterloo Cemetery, Waterloo. Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
