ALICIA "ANNE" JOHNSON, 80, died Wednesday July 17, 2013. She was born Aug. 25, 1932 in Buchanan, Mich. to the late Charles Harris, Sr. and Elizabeth Sammie (Johnson) Simpson. She married Forrest L. Johnson, Jr. on Aug. 17, 1956 in Niles, Mich. and he preceded her in death on May 17, 2011. Anne worked at Bendix in South Bend where she met her husband, and later at the Family Affair Restaurant in Angola. She was part owner of the Snow Lake Mobile Home Park. She was an avid member of the South Bend PTA, loved to read, paint and being at the cottage. Surviving are two sons, Michael S. Johnson of Albion, and Chris E. Johnson of Niles, Mich.; one daughter, Lisa D. (Chris) Boone of Angola. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Brianne Boone of Angola; and a niece, Karen (Simpson) Redding of Florida. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Simpson. Service is 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at at the H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West Street Angola, Ind. with Mike Hamm of the Stroh Church of Christ officiating. Burial at the Jamestown Cemetery, west of Fremont. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials to Steuben County Humane Society or the Steuben County
