Together they enjoyed worldwide travel visiting 19 countries as well as most of the United States, bringing back images that became travelogues that many enjoyed. She spent many years volunteering in various organizations: literacy programs in Fort Wayne, organist at First Presbyterian Church, pianist and teacher at Camps Farthest Out, and pianist and minister at Brigade of Light Church. Carolyn authored a book, 'Letters to a Disciple'. Survivors include her daughter, Ruth Christie (husband, William F.) Donovan of Marietta, Ga.; sons, Dana B.
