CARTER STROTHER, 89, passed Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, in Sandusky, Ohio. He was a World War ll veteran. Surviving are a son, Carter (Wiletha) Strother Jr. of Bessemer, Ala.; a daughter, Doris Green; granddaughters, Roxanne Green, Jacqueline (Karl) Tabb and Niketa Turner; grandsons, Raymond Green and Naylan Harris; five great-grandsons; and numerous other family and friends. Service is noon Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Strowder Funeral Home, 822 E. 105th St., Cleveland, Ohio, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. Burial in Uniontown, Ala.
