CHRISTOPHER A. McCOMB, 48, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at his home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he graduated from Snider High School in 1983 and was a self employed Carpenter. He had spent 20 years working for TL McComb & Sons Contractors. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, played drums in the band "Cherry Valance" liked to work crossword puzzles. Surviving are his father, Terry (Lynn) McComb; mother, Patricia (Ray) Strater; brother, Jeffery (Terry) McComb; sisters, Julie (Ryan) McComb and Morgan McComb of Texas; daughter, Adriana L. McComb; grandmothers, Dotty McComb, Donna J. Harris; several aunts, uncles, and nephews all of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his brother, Troy. Service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Patricia Strater.
