DAVID A. DONNELLY, 87, of Caro, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eva R. Donnelly. David graduated from RPI in 1946 with a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and served as an ensign in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. He went on to work at General Electric, retiring in 1985. David is lovingly remembered by his four children, Patricia Wilson of Novi, Mich., Dan (Polly) Donnelly of Fairfax, Va., Kathy (Rick) Theurer of Vassar, Mich., and Teresa (Kevin) Halter of West Lafayette, Ind.; Also surviving are his brother, James T. Donnelly of Glens Falls, N.Y.; five nieces and nephews; and nine grandchildren, Gabe (Katie) Theurer, Alexis Theurer, Alexander Theurer, Katy Theurer, David Theurer, Casey Donnelly, Dani Donnelly, Keegan Halter, and Ian Halter. David as preceded in death by his mother and father, Joseph and Madaline Donnelly of Glens Falls, N.Y. Funeral service was Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Hanlin Funeral Home, Millington, Mich. David will be laid to rest in Fort Wayne. Arrangements by Hanlin Funeral Home, Millington, Mich. Memorial donations may be made to any Veteran Support Center.
