DOROTHY H. BURGETTE, 92, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013. Born in Fort Wayne, Dorothy was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Rosary Sodality; Daughters of Isabella; and Daughters of American Revolution. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Burgette of Fort Wayne; sons, Ronald (Sonya) Burgette of Ashburn, Va., Dennis (Wendy) Burgette of Blowing Rock, N.C. and Gerald (Karen) Burgette of Seneca, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and 10 2/3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Burgette; parents, Albert and Adelia Pequignot; infant daughter, Barbara Burgette; brother, Erwin Pequignot; and sister, Marjorie Sliger. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Fr. James Kumbakkeel officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
