ERMA M. THARP, 95, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at University Park Nursing Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she worked as a beautician for 15 years. Surviving are her son, Steven Tharp of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Tammie Tharp of Fort Wayne, Michael Tharp of Erie, Pa., Tara Mitchell of Fort Wayne and Sean Tharp of Knoxville, Tenn.; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Katherine Stahl; and husband, Bueford "Boo" Tharp. A private family service will be held at a later date.
