ETHEL M. HOCH, 96, of Wabash, died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Miller's Merry Manor East in Wabash. She was born May 12, 1917 in Wabash County, a daughter of Bert and Clara (Whitcraft) Campbell. Ethel was a 1935 graduate of Lagro High School. She first married Lawrence J. Hamilton Sr., then to Gail King, and then to Frank Hoch, all three preceded her in death. She retired from First National Bank in Wabash in 1979 after 30 years. She also worked at Clark's Finer Foods and the Wabash County Hospital. Ethel was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash since 1942. Surviving are her seven children, Fred (Linda) Hamilton of Muncie, Jim (Rosie) Hamilton of Goshen, Tom (Michele) Hamilton of Fort Wayne, Bob (Lynn) Hamilton of North Manchester, Bill (Theresa) Hamilton of Wabash, Ed (Cindy) Hamilton of Alexandria, and Barbara (Roger) Hundley of Wabash; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dan Campbell of Upland, and Earl (Ada) Campbell of Findlay, Ohio; and her sister, Irene Campbell of Summitville. She was also preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Joseph Hamilton Jr.; grandson, Larry Dan Hamilton; three brothers; and four sisters. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 188 W. Sinclair Street, Wabash. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Garden of St. Bernard in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Preferred memorial is St. Bernard School Scholarship Fund or Miller's Merry Manor East Activities Fund.
